How did I lose 10 Kilogram within 2 months?

Obesity is the most discussed topic among today's youngsters. As we all know that the human lifestyle has been effected by IT revolution more than anything else. I'm an employee of an electronic design automation company and I know how hard it was to control my growing weight everyday. But why we just can't control it? The answer is we actually don't want to; yes it's true. So, the first step towards fitness is, we need a strong will power and the mentality to hold it for ever.

My 12 Kilogram overweight gave me [1] backache, [2] sluggishness, [3] heart problems, [4] digestion malfunctions and [5]  prone to get sick with seasonal and minor diseases.

At first I thought I have no time for physical exercises, and I will waste my valuable time if I go for it instead I better concentrate on my work and do well in my professional career. I know, more than 90% of obese think the same. They like to spend time with their work, their family and friends, their hobbies etc.  But at the end of June, 2009 suddenly I realized if I am not physically fit everything in my life will be unfit as well. I started the gym on 30th June, 2009 when I was 79.4 Kilogram and on August 15, 2009 69.5 Kilogram, I lost almost 10 Kilogram of my body weight within these days.

But how did I do this so quickly without making any harm to my body? Three "mantras" I am describing here,
[1] Strong will power: Make gym as a part of your "must do" jobs in your daily routine, whatever happens do not miss your time to go to gym and spend at least one hour exercising under your instructor's supervision.

[2] Change your taste: We Indians are habituated with spicy, sweet and other heavy calorie foods. STOP eating these completely, say to your mind "NO" whenever it wishes to take even a tiny bite. If you can't control your calorie intake then there is nothing in this world which can help you in weight reduction. This is as simple as mathematics, Your actual weight + Your daily weight gain - Your daily weight loss= Your weight. You don't have any control on your actual weight if you want to stay healthy but you have control on other two parameters, your daily weight gain and your daily weight loss.

[3] Run: Run as much you as can. I started running even when I was not able to run for 30 seconds, and now I run 10K in 1 hour, we all can do the same, we just need strong will power to achieve the goal and nothing else. Running and drinking lots of water can give us everything that we need to stay healthy.

Remember, there is no other shortcut to reduce weight without damaging your body, fasting is the worst way to do it. Listen to your instructor, they are trained and follow his advices strictly. All the best.
