Left front is notorious for preventing all progressive steps taken by Govt. of India, as far as I believe as a bengali staying outside of west bengal. My colleagues from all over India ask me how can we (literate bengalis?) keep electing CP(I)M to rule us over past 30 years? Honestly saying, they left no choice for us.
People still believes situation in WB is far better than UP and Bihar, but I want to ask a question in this context, how many people knows exactly whats going on inside china? Day to day basis? Are they really a superpower? Don't know. States ruled by communists are almost same.
Chinese communists are desperately working for their nation, but can we say the same for Indian communists? I have seen CP(I)M gathers thousand of people when US attacks Iraq to protest march but there is no sound when Mumbai and the whole nation were burning after 26/11. Since 1971 Indo-Pak war communist party allows millions of Bangladeshi immigrants inside west bengal to create their vote bank. Presently TMC (Trinamul Congress) started similar cheap political game in west bengal against state govt. Kolkata is safest corridor for terrorists from Bangladesh and Pakistan, they are protected by ruling party for minority votes.
Proof? All terror attacks linked to Kolkata, and an ancient mosque on a tiny patch of 1,200 square feet of land right next to a runway has forced a redrawing of the entire Rs 2,000-crore map to upgrade Kolkata airport. So called secular leaders blame Narendra Modi as communal and this Narendra Modi government’s drive against temples encroaching streets in Gujarat capital and elsewhere has invited the wrath of the opposition Congress (read seculars) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) alike.
