India|US|Pakistan

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice visiting India, yesterday John McCain, republican party leader made a stopover India on his way of Bangladesh and Bhutan to show US's solidarity with us. Rice will visit Pakistan too. Mr. McCain said we should trust Pakistan. President elect. Barack Obama clearly mentioned he will not give any specific comment on present condition in subcontinent, and also saying India must protect itself.

What US wants? If India and Pakistan go into war, they can sell their arms! it may help to boost their economy. We should not forget that God of terrorism Osama bin Laden is a American creature.

Pakistani president Mr. Zardari clearly said Pakistan will not send anyone from 21 blacklisted men in India. Pakistan Foreign Minister promised they will send ISI chief Lt Gen Shuja Pasha to India when he was in a official tour in India, but now, when he is in Pakistan denying to send ISI chief . Pakistan Govt. knows they can't be too strong or too soft because of Internal and International pressure. Pakistan Foreign Minister Mr. Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi repeatedly said Pakistan is a responsible nation and will act as a responsible neighbor.

Are you showing your responsibility?

On the other hand India has too many options to choose but not even a single option will help it until India remodel its administrative, legal, internal security systems. We may have an organization like DRDO but at the same time our police dies due to faulty, poor quality bullet proof jackets; state police still use .303 rifles, lack of coordination between spy agencies, porous territorial borderline. It is far more cheaper to upgrade our own system than going into a war. Another victory over Pakistan will not ensure the security of citizens inside the country.

Prevention is better than cure.

Sudip you have said it nicely - "It is far more cheaper to upgrade our own system than going into a war. " But the fact is whether going to war is cheaper or not war is definitely not the answer. I dont know what intentions US have in this regard and frankly I dont care and I dont want them to interfere in our internal matters. this again shows the incomptence of our leaders who time and again depend on others to make their decisions. War will not end terrorism but will produce many such casualties of war whom religious fanatics will utilize and send to india as messenger of deaths. Plus at this time where there is an economy crunch worldwide do you think its wise to be in a state of war? But this is also true that we as a country have to be strong. This is not the time to show humanitarian acts. there should be stringent laws and liberty should be given to our forces be it anyone police, nsg, maricos etc., to shoot-at-sight of any such terrorists. There should not be any bureaucratic bullshit here. What I feel is we should extract as much information as we can from kasav and kill him quickly otherwise there may be another hostage scenario with an aim to free him as was the case with AI airlines hijack. Laws should be made so much horrifying that it should produce terror in the heart of terrorists. Laws should be there to execute a terrorist along with their whole family though they may be innocent. I may sound a little harsh and people may say then what is the difference between us and them. But this is how we should be, if we dont produce terror terrorism may never end. These laws should be there to make the terrorists planning the next attack to think twice. But now what about those whom are yet to choose the wrong way of life. There are always people who opt to choose this path for the money involved and there are some whom the religious fanatics brainwash utilising some unjustice held on them. So we have to think now, are we the one who are responsible for producing terrorists? We should clear our own house first. Here we are praising of our brave heroes who gave their life to save ours but then there are some also who do unjust oppression on minorities living in border areas. These oppressed people then may choose these paths of terror to have their vengeance. Thus corruption is everywhere. So the first step to deal with terrorism is not to declare a war against Pakistan but a war against Corruption that had weakened our own roots.
